Here’s an update on my drawing for Pico Day. It’s still a work in progress as you can see, but I wanted to update you on my progress of it.

Why does Daddy Dearest look like Tito from The Nutshack?!?!

Hello! As I’ve mentioned before, I’m planning on making a mod about my failed attempt of trying to draw Mario from memory named Meewiiak. The mod will be used in my upcoming game; The Adventures of Meewiiak: The Game. I’m trying to make sprites for Meewiiak but I’m not sure which one I should use.

Here’s what Meewiiak looks like in his original style. The next images I’ll show you will be the old FNF drawing and the other one after that will be the new one I’m drawing. All you have to do is tell me which one is better (By better, I mean which one fits the FNF art style more?)

Here’s the first one. This is the old one like I said before. Let’s call it Meewiiak 1.

This is the new one that I’ve drawn. It’s not finished yet if you didn’t get that. As you can tell, he doesn’t have a microphone yet since I haven’t drawn it. Also, it’s a sketch and not digitally drawn and colored in. Let’s call this one Meewiiak 2.

Today on April 21st, 2021, the Neentandoo account has turned 1 month old! That’s pretty epic! Within a month timeframe, I’ve managed to make it to Level 7, gain Town Watch status, and accumulate 7 fans! I’ve also participated in a Pico Day 2021 collab with @milkbarjack with the Pico Clicker game! I managed to get my Pico submission into the game! As of now, the game’s not out yet since it’ll be released on Pico Day, but in the meantime, you can check out my submission here:

Pico Clicker Submission

I’m going to make this an annual thing where every month on the 21st, I’ll post a summary on what I’ve done in that timeframe. As of now, I’m still coming up with ideas for my game; The Adventures of Meewiiak: The Game. I still haven’t started making it yet, but it looks like it won’t be too long before it begins development (late May or June?).

HERE’S TO 1 MONTH ON NEWGROUNDS!

If you didn’t know already, I’m making a game based on my failed attempt of trying to draw Mario from memory named Meewiiak. The will be called The Adventures of Meewiiak: The Game. I haven’t revealed many details about it like the plot or anything because I don’t exactly know how to tell you it. What I can say is that just like FNF, this game will be a tribute to Newgrounds, featuring characters new and old. The game will be split into 3 chapters. Right now, I’ll attempt to describe the gameplay of these chapters. All of these concepts are in my head as of now and haven’t actually been made into a game yet. It’s very likely that some things will change in the finished product.

CHAPTER 1 (NO SUBTITLE YET)

Chapter 1 will basically be your standard Mario game, with 8 worlds and 4 levels (+ 1 bonus level) in each of them. So it’s basically Super Mario Bros. Except there will be Key Coins. Key Coins will be the key (no pun intended) to get the true ending of the game. There will be 3 of them in each level. Collect them all to unlock these bonus levels to defeat a boss in order to get a star. You need 8 stars in order to get the good ending of Chapter 1 1. In my opinion, the REAL game doesn’t start until Chapter 2, where the REAL fun begins!

CHAPTER 2: BREAKING NEW(ER) GROUND(S) (NOT FINAL SUBTITLE)

Like I said before, Chapter 2 is where the real game starts. Right now, I’ve ran out of brain power to describe what the other chapters will be like, but what I’m able to say right now is that this is where the Newgrounds characters start showing up and where the whole tribute part ties into. Also, the game is planning to have an August 21st, 2023 release date. Also also, the game will be non-profitable, as it’s a parody of Mario and Nintendo. If Nintendo finds out I’m getting money off of this, they’ll sue me for sure. So that’s why I’ll be getting nothing from it. Hey! I’m thinking of making a mod of my failed attempt of trying to draw Mario from memory, Meewiiak. A while back (March 20th, 2021) as a joke (and due to boredom), I decided to draw him in the FNF art style.

I thought it looked pretty decent, but now I’m wanting to turn him into a mod. I want to redraw this in layers just like how the sprites were made in the original game (Face, Body, Head, Arm holding microphone). I also want to make Meewiiak look more like he was actually drawn by PhantomArcade himself. All you got to do is make suggestions of improvement on what needs to be changed in order to fully capture the FNF art stye. You could even suggest what his up, down, left, and right animations should look like. I’ll post more on this in the future if you’re interested in it.
